History
Philippe Colin is a Chassagne-Montrachet estate built on a thirteen-parcel portfolio that stretches from a sliver of Chevalier-Montrachet Grand Cru to Premier Crus in Chassagne, Puligny, Santenay, Maranges, Givry, and Saint-Aubin. Philippe Colin established his own domaine after working within the broader Colin family of producers, carving out an identity grounded in Chassagne's white-wine heartland while adding range through cross-village holdings.
Winemaking Approach
Thirteen parcels across seven communes keep the winemaking broadly engaged — whites dominate, though the Morgeot Rouge holding and Santenay parcels bring structure from the red-wine tradition that Chassagne quietly maintains. Parcel-by-parcel vinification is standard practice, each site bottled to express its own character rather than blended into a house blend. Farming follows Burgundy AOC conventions throughout.
