シャサーニュ・モンラッシェの北側、旧国道6号線の北に隣接するレ・シュヌヴォットは、10.99ヘクタールの広さを持つ一級畑です。かつて大麻が栽培されていたことに由来する名を持つこの地は、比較的平坦な地形で、涼しくも適度な湿度を保っています。斜面ではないものの表土は非常に薄く、コラン家やモレ家をはじめとする生産者たちが、この地から上品でしなやかな白ワインを造り出しています。内包されるレ・コムやレ・ボンデュの名がラベルに載ることは稀ですが、粘土の強いレ・ボンデュの区画はピノ・ノワールに適しており、赤ワインも生産されています。ドメーヌ・シャンソンが1.99ヘクタールを所有するほか、マーク・モレやフィリップ・コランらが主要な造り手として名を連ねます。
Les Chenevottes is a premier cru *climat* in Chassagne-Montrachet, the southernmost of the three great white-wine villages on the Côte de Beaune. Chassagne's reputation rests on Chardonnay — it shares the Montrachet hill with Puligny — yet the commune also harbors a quiet red-wine tradition that predates the modern white-wine era. Les Chenevottes lies on the flatter, lower slopes of the appellation, producing whites with a broader texture than the sites higher on the hill.
Chardonnay, white only. At roughly 11.17 ha of registered holdings, Les Chenevottes is one of the larger premier cru parcels in Chassagne — spread across 25 identified owners, so the holdings are strongly fragmented. Yields follow the standard premier cru ceiling around 45–48 hl/ha; the lower elevation and gentle slope give the wine a rounder, more generous character than the more mineral crus closer to Le Montrachet.
