You can see the exact location of all 629 vineyards (climats) across Burgundy. 573 have official INAO boundary polygons showing vineyard shapes. Grand Cru is shown in red, Premier Cru in gold, and Village in grey.

Where does the boundary (polygon) data come from?

The boundaries are based on official GeoJSON data published by INAO (France's National Institute of Origin and Quality). 573 climats including all 33 Grand Crus are accurately drawn.

What do the colours mean?

Grand Cru Rouge (red, pulsing) and Grand Cru Blanc (gold, pulsing) indicate top-tier vineyards. Premier Cru Rouge (light red) and Premier Cru Blanc (pale yellow) are first-growth vineyards. Rouge = red wine (Pinot Noir), Blanc = white wine (Chardonnay).

Can I filter by region?

Yes. Use the filter panel to select Côte de Nuits, Côte de Beaune, Côte Chalonnaise, or Chablis. You can also filter by colour (red/white) and rank (Grand/Premier).

At zoom level 13 or higher, vineyard names appear directly on the map. At lower zoom levels, markers are shown — click one to see the vineyard name and a link to its detail page.
