Profile

History

Domaine Paul Pernot is a family estate based in Puligny-Montrachet, with roots tracing back several generations. The domaine built its reputation quietly — accumulating holdings across the Côte de Beaune rather than chasing publicity — and today ranks among the serious addresses for white Burgundy from Puligny and its neighbors.

Winemaking Approach

The cellar approach is classical: careful sorting, gentle pressing for the whites, and aging in French oak with a moderate proportion of new barrels. The goal is transparency — wines that express the parcel rather than the winemaker's hand. With ten parcels spanning five communes (including two Grands Crus and eight Premiers Crus), the estate naturally produces a wide range, from village Beaune to the grandeur of Bâtard-Montrachet.
