History

Olivier Leflaive — the domaine proper, distinct from the Frères négociant arm — is based in the Meursault (Blagny) sector of the Côte de Beaune. The estate's vineyard holdings trace the white wine heartland of southern Burgundy, from Puligny-Montrachet Grand Cru down through the Côte Chalonnaise communes of Montagny and Rully.

Winemaking Approach

Nine parcels across 4 communes define the domaine's range, anchored by two Grands Crus in Puligny-Montrachet and filled out with Premier Cru holdings in Puligny, Meursault (Blagny), Rully, and Montagny. The house style leans toward the precision and mineral tension characteristic of the southern Côte de Beaune's Chardonnay.
