History

Domaine Berthelemot is based in Aloxe-Corton, at the northern tip of the Côte de Beaune where the Corton hill is shared among three communes: Aloxe-Corton, Pernand-Vergelesses, and Ladoix-Serrigny. Its holdings, however, extend far beyond this corner — reaching south through Beaune, Chassagne-Montrachet, and Santenay, and west into Puligny-Montrachet and Saint-Aubin.

Winemaking Approach

Eleven parcels across eight communes, including two Grand Cru and nine Premier Cru. The range from Corton-Charlemagne white to Bressandes red in Beaune reflects a genuinely broad stylistic scope. Corton-Charlemagne at 0.92 ha is the estate's largest single holding and its most prominent white; a small parcel in Corton (0.17 ha) adds a red counterpart on the same hill.
