コート・ド・ボーヌに位置するムルソーのプルミエ・クリュ、レ・カイユレは、ヴォルネイとの境界付近に広がるサントノ系の畑群に属しています。このアペラシオンでは珍しく、白ワインだけでなく赤ワインの生産も認められている点が大きな特徴です。ムルソーの白は一般にバターやヘーゼルナッツを思わせる豊潤さが魅力ですが、この区画を含む周辺一帯は、隣接するヴォルネイの性質とも共通点を見出すことができます。主要な所有者には、1.06ヘクタールを擁するドメーヌ・ジャン・ノエル・ガニャールをはじめ、ド・モンティーユやギィ・アミオ・エ・フィス、モレイ・コフィネなどが名を連ねます。テロワールの個性が尊重される現代のムルソーにおいて、独自の立ち位置を確立しているクリマです。
Les Caillerets is a premier cru in Meursault, the largest white-wine commune of the Côte de Beaune. Meursault's *climat* structure is among the most finely parsed in the appellation — premier cru sites wrap the village in a dense patchwork of named parcels, each with its own soil character. Les Caillerets sits within that mosaic as one of Meursault's more substantive parcels by registered area.
Chardonnay, white only. Registered holdings total approximately 8.The parcel yields wines in the classic Meursault register: Chardonnay grown on the Côte de Beaune's limestone-rich subsoils, with the structure that longer ageing can reward.
