History
Domaine Sylvain Morey is based in Chassagne-Montrachet — a village equally at home with white Chardonnay and red Pinot Noir, despite its reputation being built largely on the former. Sylvain Morey assembled a small portfolio of Premier Cru parcels spanning Chassagne, Meursault, and Santenay, covering both colours across the southern Côte de Beaune.
Winemaking Approach
Four Premier Cru parcels across three communes. The holdings are modest in size — none exceeds 0.41 ha — but the spread from Santenay in the south to Meursault in the north gives the domaine a varied palette. Les Caillerets in Meursault and Les Champs Gain in Chassagne are the white anchors; Clos Rousseau in Santenay the red.
