Domaine Thierry & Pascale Matrot is a Meursault estate with a portfolio that reaches into two neighbouring Puligny-Montrachet Premier Crus — a configuration that positions the domaine squarely within the Côte de Beaune's white-wine heartland. Meursault itself is the largest white-wine commune of the Côte de Beaune, and the village's richest Premier Crus — Les Charmes, Les Perrières, and the Blagny lieux-dits — are all represented in the Matrot holdings.
Winemaking Approach
Seven Premier Cru parcels spread across three communes — Meursault, Meursault-Blagny, and Puligny-Montrachet — give the estate a multi-terroir identity. La Pièce sous le Bois (1.43 ha) and Meursault-Blagny (0.98 ha) are the largest single blocks.
