Premier Cru
10History
Domaine Ballot-Millot is a mid-sized Beaune estate with a portfolio weighted toward Meursault. Beaune is the historic capital of the Côte de Beaune — the town that gives the slope its name — and its surrounding premier crus are some of the most extensive in Burgundy. That Meursault concentration is worth noting: four premier cru parcels there make Perrières, Genevrières, Charmes, and Bouchères the backbone of the white range. Public records on the founding are limited.
Winemaking Approach
A mid-sized estate with little public information. Ten premier crus span five communes — Chassagne-Montrachet, Pommard, Meursault, Beaune, and Volnay — mixing red and white in roughly equal measure. Each parcel is bottled separately under the domaine model.
