History
Domaine Pierre Morey is a Meursault estate with holdings that punch well above its modest size. Meursault is the Côte de Beaune's largest white-wine commune — the village most closely associated with rich, textured Chardonnay grown on deep limestone soils. The domaine's public history is spare, but its parcel selection tells the story: a sliver of Bâtard-Montrachet, two Meursault Premier Crus, and a Pommard red.
Winemaking Approach
Four parcels across three communes give Pierre Morey a tight but varied portfolio — one Grand Cru, three Premiers Crus. The estate works in the domaine-bottling tradition, letting each parcel speak for itself rather than blending toward a house average.
