History

Domaine Henri Prudhon is a Saint-Aubin estate — a village on the western flank of the Côte de Beaune that sits between Puligny-Montrachet and Chassagne-Montrachet. Saint-Aubin's premiers crus have attracted serious attention as the côte's better-known appellations have grown expensive, and Prudhon works (10) of them across four communes. Founding details are not documented in public sources.

Winemaking Approach

The domaine bottles parcel by parcel across four communes — Saint-Aubin, Chassagne-Montrachet, Puligny-Montrachet, and Nuits-Saint-Georges — giving it an unusually broad spread for an estate of this size. The range is Chardonnay-forward, as befits the address, though the Nuits-Saint-Georges Perrières shows the estate's reach into the Côte de Nuits.
