Sur le Sentier du Clou is a premier cru in Saint-Aubin, the Côte de Beaune village set back in the hills between Puligny-Montrachet and Chassagne-Montrachet. The name refers to the old footpath — *sentier du clou* — that once traced through the parcel. Saint-Aubin's string of white premiers crus offers some of the appellation's best value on the Côte de Beaune, and Sur le Sentier du Clou sits among the better-regarded of them.
