Profile

History

Château de Meursault is a mid-sized estate based in Aloxe-Corton — the northernmost commune of the Côte de Beaune, sharing the Corton hill with Pernand-Vergelesses and Ladoix-Serrigny. Despite the name, the estate's holdings span seven communes, making it one of the broader multi-village portfolios among Côte de Beaune producers. The founding history is not well documented publicly.

Winemaking Approach

Thirteen Premier Cru parcels across seven communes — Aloxe-Corton, Savigny-lès-Beaune, Beaune, and Pommard among them. That range means the estate works a wide spectrum of Côte de Beaune soils and exposures within a single house style.
