ムルソーやマランジュ、ボーヌを拠点に活動するグザヴィエ・モノは、コート・ド・ボーヌの銘醸地に合計7つのプルミエ・クリュを擁する造り手です。白ワインではムルソーのレ・シャルムやピュリニー・モンラッシェのフォラティエール、サントーバンのアン・ルミリといった名高い一級畑を管理しています。赤ワインの重要拠点であるボーヌでは、レ・サン・ヴィーニュに1.7ヘクタールの広大な区画を所有するほか、トゥーサンにも一級畑を保持しています。さらにヴォルネイのクロ・デ・シェーヌや、マランジュのラ・フュシエールまで、その所有畑は多岐にわたります。特筆すべきボーヌのレ・サン・ヴィーニュは、石灰岩に砂が混じる軽やかな土壌が特徴で、土地の個性を反映した繊細なワイン造りを行っています。

History
Xavier Monnot is a Beaune-based estate with Premier Cru holdings spread across six communes on the Côte de Beaune. Beaune anchors the southern half of the Côte d'Or — its hillsides ring the town with a dense collection of Premier Cru lieux-dits — but Monnot's parcels reach well beyond the town, from Meursault and Puligny-Montrachet in the south to Maranges near the Côte's end. Founding history is not well documented.
Winemaking Approach
A small estate with little public information. Seven parcels, all Premier Cru, stretch across white-dominant Meursault and Puligny-Montrachet, through red-wine Beaune, Volnay, and on to Saint-Aubin and Maranges — a deliberate sweep of Côte de Beaune village characters held within a single portfolio.
