Les Cents Vignes is a premier cru in Beaune, the historic wine capital of the Côte de Beaune. Beaune encircles itself with a wide collar of premier cru parcels — no grands crus, but a dense sequence of named *climat* sites that form the backbone of the appellation's red wine production. Les Cents Vignes is among the largest of these, with 12.28 ha of registered holdings and a varied ownership profile that includes both négociant houses and charitable institutions.
