History
Domaine des Lambrays — distinct from the LVMH-owned Morey estate of the same name — is based in Chassagne-Montrachet. Chassagne straddles Burgundy's great white-wine divide: its northern slopes produce Chardonnay of weight and minerality alongside Puligny, while the southern end carries a meaningful red-wine tradition. The domaine holds parcels across three communes, including a fragment of Clos des Lambrays Grand Cru in Morey-Saint-Denis.
Winemaking Approach
Four parcels across Morey-Saint-Denis, Chassagne-Montrachet, and Puligny-Montrachet — one Grand Cru and three Premier Cru — define a range that runs from Côte de Nuits red to Côte de Beaune white. The estate bottles under the traditional domaine model, each parcel unified by a consistent house approach to Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
