11History
Domaine Henri Boillot is a Meursault estate whose roots run deep in the Boillot family story — a name that echoes across several independent domaines in the Côte de Beaune. Henri Boillot built his own domaine after working in the family business, establishing a house focused on white Burgundy alongside select reds. Meursault, the largest white-wine commune of the Côte de Beaune, provides the estate's home base; Premier Cru parcels in Puligny-Montrachet and Volnay extend its reach across the southern slope.
Winemaking Approach
The domaine manages eleven Premier Cru parcels across four communes — Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet, Volnay, and Pommard. Whites dominate in volume: Clos de la Mouchère in Puligny-Montrachet anchors the lineup at 3.65 ha, a monopole that gives the house its clearest identity. Reds from Volnay and Pommard complete the range. The approach leans classical — domaine bottling, parcel-level identity, and farming in keeping with Burgundy's AOC standards.
