History
Domaine Bachelet-Monnot is a small Chassagne-Montrachet estate with holdings that reach north into Puligny and south into Maranges. Chassagne is a dual-identity village — its whites stand alongside Puligny's finest, while its reds occupy a darker, firmer register than most Côte de Beaune communes. Public records on the founding are limited, but the spread of six communes in seven parcels shows a family that assembled its land deliberately over time.
Winemaking Approach
A small estate with little public information. One Grand Cru — Bâtard-Montrachet — anchors a portfolio that otherwise moves through premier crus in Puligny, Saint-Aubin, Maranges, and Chassagne itself. The range is predominantly white, reflecting the commune's character.
