Les Ruelles is a premier cru *climat* in the St-Martin-sous-Montaigu commune within the Mercurey appellation of the Côte Chalonnaise. Mercurey produces the largest volume of premier cru red wine in the Côte Chalonnaise — a region that sits just south of the Côte d'Or and makes Pinot Noir and Chardonnay in a relatively traditional idiom.
Pinot Noir, red only. Registered holdings total approximately 2.54 ha. Château de Chamirey holds the parcel entirely. Standard premier cru framework applies.
