コート・シャロネーズ地区のメルキュレに位置するアン・サズネは、合計面積7.12ヘクタールのプルミエ・クリュである。この畑の主要な所有者には、3.1ヘクタールを保持するドメーヌ・ド・シュルマンをはじめ、1.94ヘクタールのドメーヌ・テュピニエ・バティスタ、1.52ヘクタールのシャトー・ド・シャミレイが名を連ねる。さらに、ドメーヌ・ミシェル・ジュイヨが0.48ヘクタールを所有するほか、ドメーヌ・ニノやジェノ・ブーランジェも区画を擁している。メルキュレのなかでも重要な一角を占める一級畑であり、複数の造り手によって管理されている点が特徴である。各ドメーヌの所有面積には開きがあるものの、村を代表する生産者たちが顔を揃えている。
En Sazenay is a premier cru *climat* in Mercurey, the Côte Chalonnaise's largest and most productive commune. Mercurey leans heavily toward red wine — Pinot Noir dominates — and its premier crus have long offered a more accessible entry point into Burgundian terroir without sacrificing structure or the capacity to age.
Pinot Noir, red only. Registered holdings total approximately 7.04 ha across 9 identified owners — a well-distributed ownership that keeps production spread across multiple estates. The Chalonnaise climate tends toward slightly warmer, more open conditions than the Côte d'Or, which softens tannins without erasing the mineral backbone.
