Les Bois Chevaux is a premier cru *climat* in Givry, the Côte Chalonnaise commune with a long-standing reputation for red wine — its Pinot Noirs were reportedly favoured at the French royal court. At 7.66 ha, Les Bois Chevaux is one of the more substantial premier cru parcels in the appellation, with a single estate holding nearly the entire surface.
