History
Domaine Joblot is a Givry estate in the Côte Chalonnaise. Givry is that appellation's signature red-wine commune — historically associated with the French royal court, and today producing some of the Chalonnaise's most age-worthy Pinot Noirs. The domaine holds seven Premier Cru parcels, an unusually large count for the village, placing it among Givry's most serious addresses.
Winemaking Approach
Seven Premier Cru parcels give Joblot a comprehensive view of Givry's terroir. The range includes several named-plot wines — Clos de la Servoisine and Clos du Cellier aux Moines among the most recognizable — alongside smaller parcels that add textural variety. The domaine-bottling model keeps each climat distinct rather than blending across the portfolio.
