クロ・サロモン
コート・シャロネーズ地区のジヴリに位置するクロ・ソロモンは、同名を冠するドメーヌ・デュ・クロ・ソロモンが大部分を単独所有するプルミエ・クリュである。総面積は7.12ヘクタールに及び、そのうち6.98ヘクタールをデュ・ガルダン家が運営する同ドメーヌが占めている。この畑はジヴリのなかでも歴史的に高い評価を得てきた区画の一つである。石灰岩を主体とした土壌構成を特徴とし、標高約240メートルから280メートルの東向き斜面に広がっている。主要な栽培品種はピノ・ノワールであり、この土地のテロワールを反映したワインが造られている。所有者がほぼ一貫して管理を続けてきたことで、区画の個性が明確に維持されている銘醸地である。
Clos Salomon is a premier cru *climat* in Givry, with a documented history stretching back centuries. The Salomon name connects the parcel to one of Givry's old proprietorial families — a lineage that the du Gardin family, current stewards of the domaine, traces and preserves as part of the clos's identity.
Pinot Noir, red only. Total registered area: approximately 6.98 ha — the largest of Givry's named premier cru parcels. Despite the scale, the vineyard functions essentially as a single-estate operation. Givry's style runs lighter and more aromatic than the Côte de Nuits, and Clos Salomon's wines reflect that: red fruit, a floral lift, and a structure that is firm without heaviness.
