Clos Saint-Pierre is a premier cru *climat* in Givry, on the Côte Chalonnaise. The dedication to Saint Peter — patron of numerous religious houses throughout Burgundy — points to monastic ownership before the Revolution reshaped vineyard tenure across the region.
Pinot Noir, red only. Total registered area: approximately 2.13 ha. Givry produces Pinot Noir with a lighter frame than the Côte de Nuits — bright cherry fruit, moderate tannin, and a certain immediacy that makes it approachable younger than many Burgundy premier crus.
