History

Clos Saint-Pierre is a premier cru *climat* in Givry, on the Côte Chalonnaise. The dedication to Saint Peter — patron of numerous religious houses throughout Burgundy — points to monastic ownership before the Revolution reshaped vineyard tenure across the region.
