コート・シャロネーズ地区のジヴリに位置するアン・ヴォーは、このコミューンを代表する一級畑の一つである。総面積は7.12ヘクタールで、主要な所有者にはドメーヌ・ジョブロやドメーヌ・マッセが名を連ねている。ジヴリの集落から西へ進んだ小谷の奥に位置しており、周囲を斜面に囲まれた独特の地形が特徴となっている。この畑は南から南東を向いた急斜面に広がっており、標高は約240メートルから310メートルに達する。土壌は石灰岩の含有率が高く、浅い表土の下に岩盤が露出する場所も少なくない。日照条件に恵まれながらも、谷間を抜ける風の影響で冷涼さが保たれるため、ワインには引き締まった構造と明確なミネラル感が備わる。

History

En Veau is a premier cru *climat* in the Givry commune of the Côte Chalonnaise. Givry is the Chalonnaise's primary red-wine village — historically a favourite at the French royal court — and its named parcels follow the same AOC *climat* structure that organises vineyards across Burgundy.

Style & Terroir

Pinot Noir, red only. Premier cru regulations apply: 9,000 vines per hectare minimum, roughly 11.0–11.5% potential alcohol, and a yield ceiling around 45–48 hl/ha.
