Profile

History

Domaine Tawse is a Beaune-based estate with Burgundian roots and Canadian ownership — Moray Tawse, founder of Tawse Winery in Ontario, established a négociant and domaine presence in Burgundy to source wines directly from the Côte de Beaune. Detailed founding records for the Burgundy operations are not publicly available.

Winemaking Approach

A small estate with limited public information, the domaine holds five premier cru parcels across Savigny-lès-Beaune, Beaune, and Puligny-Montrachet. The spread spans both red and white terroirs — from Beaune's iron-rich hillsides to the chalk-driven Champ Canet in Puligny.
