Château de Béru is based in Chichée, a village on the right bank of the Serein river in the Chablis area. Chichée sits just south of Chablis town and holds several Premier Cru parcels — Vaucoupin is the best known among them, running along the valley slope with the Kimmeridgian limestone exposure typical of the appellation.
Winemaking Approach
A small estate with a single Premier Cru parcel. Little detailed public documentation exists on the domaine's cellar methods, but Château de Béru works within the standard Chablis AOC framework — Chardonnay on chalky-clay soils, parcel-bottled.
