ヴォーヌ・ロマネの北側に位置するレ・スショは、特級畑の帯に唯一の切れ目を作る重要な一級畑です。南をロマネ・サン・ヴィヴァンとリシュブール、北をエシェゾーという偉大な特級群に挟まれた類稀な立地を誇ります。約13ヘクタールの広さを持ち、主要な所有者には2.16ヘクタールを擁するコンフュロン・コトティドをはじめ、ミッシェル・ノエラやプリューレ・ロック、ドメーヌ・ド・ラルロなどが名を連ねます。ヴォーヌ・ロマネ特有の凝縮感と洗練さを兼ね備えたこの畑は、村内の一級畑の中でも格上げの候補に挙がるほど優れたポテンシャルを秘めており、特級に匹敵する品格を備えたワインを産出します。
Les Suchots is a premier cru in Vosne-Romanée, bordering Échézeaux to the north. The name likely derives from the Old French *suche* — tree stump — a reminder of the forest clearing that preceded the vineyard. Vosne-Romanée clusters more grands crus in a tighter span than any other Burgundy commune; Les Suchots, pressed against that boundary, sits in privileged company.
Pinot Noir, red only. At approximately 10.80 ha across 21 producers, Les Suchots is one of the larger premier cru parcels in Vosne. The soils share something of Échézeaux's character — clay-limestone on a gentle east-facing slope — and the wines often show the aromatic lift and silky texture typical of the village, with a little more breadth than many of its neighbors.
Domaine Confuron-Cotétidot holds the largest share at 2.16 ha. Other major holders:
