History
Domaine Hudelot-Noëllat is a Chambolle-Musigny estate whose portfolio reaches into the most prestigious addresses on the Côte de Nuits. The domaine carries holdings in Richebourg, Romanée-Saint-Vivant, and Clos de Vougeot — three Grand Crus in three different communes — alongside nine Premier Cru parcels spread from Chambolle to Vosne-Romanée. Charles van Canneyt, the current winemaker and son-in-law of the founding family, took the reins in the early 2000s and gradually sharpened the estate's technical profile.
Winemaking Approach
Twelve parcels across 5 communes give the domaine an unusually broad terroir vocabulary for its size. The Vosne-Romanée Premier Crus — Les Suchots, Les Beaux Monts, and Aux Malconsorts — anchor the estate stylistically alongside the three Grand Cru holdings. In the cellar, the approach tends toward careful extraction and moderate new oak, preserving the aromatic precision that defines the Chambolle and Vosne appellations.
