ドメーヌ・プリューレ・ロックは、ヴォーヌ・ロマネ、ニュイ・サン・ジョルジュ、ジュヴレ・シャンベルタンの3村に拠点を置く造り手です。計6つの畑を擁し、特級畑はクロ・ド・ヴージョとシャンベルタン・クロ・ド・ベーズの2箇所を、一級畑はレ・スショやクロ・デ・ザルジリエール、オー・コルヴェ、レ・ヴォークランの4箇所を保有しています。看板銘柄の一つであるクロ・ド・ベーズは、7世紀まで遡る修道院由来の歴史を持ち、斜面の上部は明るい土壌で水はけが良く、温暖な微気候を備えています。そのスタイルは、リシュブールのような精緻なワインと比較すると、どこか野性味を残した粗さが感じられることもありますが、それこそがこのドメーヌの個性と言えます。伝統あるテロワールの力を、独自の感性で表現し続けています。

Domaine Prieuré Roch is based in Gevrey-Chambertin and was founded by Henri-Frédéric Roch — a co-manager of Domaine de la Romanée-Conti — who built this separate estate from the early 1990s. The project was driven by a conviction that biodynamic farming and minimal intervention in the cellar could unlock the full expression of Côte de Nuits terroir. Roch passed away in 2018; the estate continues under family stewardship.
Winemaking Approach
The domaine works 6 parcels across 4 communes — 2 Grand Cru, 4 Premier Cru. Biodynamic viticulture is central: the vineyards are farmed without synthetic treatments, and harvest is done by hand with careful sorting. In the cellar, whole-cluster fermentation and very little new oak define the style — wines that can appear austere young but open with age. The Nuits-Saint-Georges Premier Cru holdings (three parcels, including Les Vaucrains and Clos des Argillieres) form a significant share of the range.
