La Comme is a premier cru in Santenay, the southernmost traditional commune of the Côte de Beaune. Santenay produces both red and white premier cru wines — La Comme, at 6.27 ha, is one of the larger red-wine *climats* in the village and spans nine owners. The commune is often overlooked next to Chassagne and Meursault to the north, which keeps prices grounded while the wines remain genuinely interesting.
La Comme produces red wine from Pinot Noir. Registered holdings total approximately 6.27 ha. Premier cru regulations apply: 9,000 vines per hectare minimum, yields in the 45–48 hl/ha range.
