クロ・ピトワ
シャサーニュ・モンラッシェの南側に位置するクロ・ピトワは、広大な一級畑レ・ブリュッソンヌを構成する区画の一つである。この畑は、地方の慣習によってモルジョの名を冠して販売することも認められているが、独自呼称での瓶詰めも行われる。主要な所有者はドメーヌ・ロジェ・ベランであり、同家が1.71ヘクタールを保持している。畑の位置関係としては、モルジョの南端に隣接し、その下部には石の多い土壌が広がるラ・カルドゥーズが帯状に伸びている。近隣の区画が赤と白の両方を生み出すのと同様に、ここでも両方のワインが造られる。複雑な名称規定を持つエリアにありながら、独自の個性を保つ一級畑である。
Clos Pitois is a premier cru *climat* in Chassagne-Montrachet, on the Côte de Beaune. The village is best known for white Burgundy — the grand cru whites of Montrachet and Bâtard-Montrachet dominate its reputation — but red wine from Chassagne has a long tradition, and the southern premier cru parcels produce some of the Côte de Beaune's more interesting reds.
Pinot Noir, red only. Total registered area: approximately 1.71 ha. Chassagne rouge tends toward a more supple, red-fruit profile than Pommard or Volnay, with moderate weight and a certain earthiness in the best sites.
