コルヌヴァン

Cornevent is a premier cru in Montagny-lès-Buxy, the southernmost appellation of the Côte Chalonnaise. Montagny is unusual among Burgundy appellations: the entire commune produces white wine only, planted exclusively to Chardonnay. All Montagny wines meeting the minimum alcohol threshold automatically qualify as premier cru — a rule that makes Cornevent's classification more a function of style than strict hierarchy, though the named *climat* still reflects a specific parcel.
