History

Château du Cray (André Goichot) is a small estate in Montagny-lès-Buxy, at the southern end of the Côte Chalonnaise. Montagny is a Chardonnay-only appellation — no red wine carries the Montagny name — and the village's Premier Cru designation applies broadly across qualifying parcels. Detailed founding records for this estate are not in public circulation.
