ヴォーヌ・ロマネの南端に位置するオー・マルコンソールは、面積7.12ヘクタールを擁する一級畑である。特級畑ラ・ターシュの南側に隣接しており、この村のプルミエ・クリュの中でも格上げの候補に挙げられるほど優れたポテンシャルを持つ。村の主要なグラン・クリュの帯が途切れる地点からニュイ・サン・ジョルジュ方面へ続く斜面に位置し、標高の高い場所にはオー・ドシュ・デ・マルコンソールが控えている。主な所有者には、計1.48ヘクタールを保持するドメーヌ・シルヴァン・カティアールとその家族のほか、ドメーヌ・ド・モンティーユ、ドメーヌ・フランソワ・ラマルシュ、ドメーヌ・ユドロ・ノエラなどが名を連ねる。ヴォーヌ・ロマネ特有の凝縮感と洗練さを体現する重要なクリュである。
Aux Malconsorts is a premier cru in Vosne-Romanée, Côte de Nuits. Vosne-Romanée is Burgundy's most storied commune — home to Romanée-Conti and five other grands crus — and its premiers crus, Malconsorts among them, draw serious attention in their own right. The climat sits at the southern edge of the appellation, directly bordering Nuits-Saint-Georges.
Pinot Noir, red only. Premier cru rules apply: minimum density 9,000 vines/ha, yield ceiling around 45–48 hl/ha. Recorded holdings total approximately 3.12 ha across nine producers. The position bordering the Nuits-Saint-Georges boundary gives the wine a firmer structure than some of the village's more northerly premiers crus — more density, less immediate openness.
