ポマールに本拠を置くこのドメーヌは、ドメーヌ・ド・クールセルと血縁関係にある老舗です。2004年にオーベール・ルファが義父から経営を引き継いで以降、畑を10ヘクタールまで拡大させ、品質の信頼性を大きく向上させました。
醸造面では徹底した全房発酵を貫いています。茎まで完熟させるため、周囲より数日遅く収穫を行い、足踏みによる半炭酸浸漬を組み合わせて複雑味を引き出します。約20日間に及ぶ長い浸漬を経て、圧搾後の果汁を戻して発酵を完了させる独自の技法が特徴です。ポマールに所有する3つのプルミエ・クリュのうち、リュジアンには50％の新樽を用い、18ヶ月の樽熟成を経て瓶詰めされます。伝統を重んじつつ、緻密な工程管理によって独自のスタイルを確立している造り手です。
