Domaine Launay-Horiot
Profile

2History
Domaine Launay-Horiot is a small Gevrey-Chambertin estate with an unusual footprint: two Grand Cru parcels in Gevrey — Chambertin and Latricières-Chambertin — paired with three Premier Cru plots in Pommard. Gevrey-Chambertin is the largest commune of the Côte de Nuits, and home to nine Grand Crus; its wines are known for power, depth, and longevity.
Winemaking Approach
Five parcels in total, split between two communes. The Grand Cru holdings are modest in size (0.17 ha and 0.16 ha respectively), yet they anchor the estate's identity firmly in the Chambertin orbit. The Pommard Premier Crus — Chaponnieres, Clos Blanc, and Rugiens-Bas — add a second register of structure and earthiness. Domaine-bottled throughout.
