History
Domaine Arlaud Père & Fils is a Chambolle-Musigny estate with substantial grand cru reach across the central Côte de Nuits. Four grand crus — Charmes-Chambertin, Clos de la Roche, Bonnes Mares, and Clos Saint-Denis — reflect holdings that span three communes. The eight premier cru parcels, concentrated in Morey-Saint-Denis and Chambolle, round out a cellar oriented squarely toward the Côte's heartland.
Winemaking Approach
Twelve parcels across five communes, with a meaningful concentration in Morey-Saint-Denis. That commune's characteristic density and grip appears in multiple cuvées — Aux Cheseaux, Les Ruchots, Les Millandes, Les Blanchards — while Chambolle parcels (Combottes, Les Sentiers) provide the more perfumed counterweight. The Charmes-Chambertin (1.14 ha) is the largest grand cru holding and, naturally, the anchor of the grand cru lineup.
