ピチュール・ドゥシュ
ヴォルネイの北端に位置するピテュール・ドゥシュは、2006年の再編を経てシャンランの一部を統合し、現在は6.94ヘクタールの面積を有する一級畑です。標高290メートルから330メートルの急斜面に広がり、南東を向く陽当たりの良い立地ですが、上部で泉が湧き出す地質的特徴から、古くは泥濘を意味する名称で呼ばれてきました。土壌は硬い石灰岩の基盤を石の多い褐色の表土が覆い、上部では石灰質マールへと変化します。隣接するポマールに通じるタンニンを備えた堅牢なスタイルが特徴で、優美さよりも骨格の強さが際立ちます。主な所有者にはビトゥゼ＝プリウールやジャン・マルク・ボワイヨ、ブラン・ガニャール、マルキ・ダンジェルヴィユ、ミシェル・ラファルジュらが名を連ねています。
Pitures-Dessus is a premier cru *climat* in Volnay, the Côte de Beaune commune most associated with delicate, perfumed Pinot Noir. "Dessus" — "above" — locates the parcel on the upper section of the slope, where thinner soils and greater elevation typically produce wines with more structure and aromatic lift than the lower-lying parcels bearing similar names.
Pinot Noir, red only. Registered holdings total approximately 1.78 ha across seven producers. The upper-slope position contributes the fine-boned texture Volnay is known for — light on the palate yet precise.
