ピュリニー・モンラッシェとシャサーニュ・モンラッシェを拠点とするドメーヌ・V&F・ジュアールは、特級畑バタール・モンラッシェのみを自社所有する極めて希少な構成の造り手である。保有する畑は、両村にまたがるこの名高いグラン・クリュに位置するわずか0.13ヘクタールの区画のみであり、プルミエ・クリュや村名格の自社畑は所有していない。ブルゴーニュにおいて白ワインの最高峰とされるピュリニーの精緻な花の香りと鋼のような骨格、そしてシャサーニュの個性が交わるこの地で、限られた面積からワイン造りを行っている。大規模なドメーヌとは一線を画し、バタール・モンラッシェという至高のテロワール一点にのみ保有畑を絞り込んだ、非常に特異かつ贅沢な存在と言える。

History
Domaine V&F Jouard is a small Puligny-Montrachet estate. Puligny sits at the pinnacle of white Burgundy — home to four Grands Crus including Le Montrachet, and a dense lineup of premiers crus — and even a modest holding here places a producer in rarefied company.
Winemaking Approach
The estate works a single parcel, its entire focus concentrated on one of Burgundy's most prized appellations. Production is small.
