Domaine d'Eugénie is based in Flagey-Échezeaux — a commune tucked between Vosne-Romanée and Vougeot that contains two of Burgundy's most storied grands crus, Échezeaux and Grands Échezeaux. The domaine holds parcels across five communes, reaching from the Côte de Nuits grand cru belt to the white-wine heartland of Puligny-Montrachet and Meursault.
Winemaking Approach
Seven parcels in total — five grand cru, two premier cru — make this a small but vertically ambitious estate. That range across the Côte de Nuits and Côte de Beaune demands a house style flexible enough to serve both the structured reds of Vougeot and the mineral whites of Montrachet. Wines are domaine-bottled parcel by parcel.
