Profile
ムルソー村に本拠を置くドメーヌ・ルジョーは、同村を代表する2つの銘醸プルミエ・クリュを所有する造り手である。保有する畑は、ムルソーの三大一級畑の一つに数えられるレ・シャルムに0.26ヘクタール、そしてサントノに0.28ヘクタールという構成だ。レ・シャルムは、他の主要な一級畑と比較してミネラル感こそ控えめだが、天然の豊潤さと樽との親和性を備えた、丸みのあるフルボディのワインを生むことで知られる。また、サントノの区画も含め、ドメーヌが手掛ける一級畑の総面積は0.54ヘクタールに及ぶ。ムルソー特有の魅力的で親しみやすいスタイルを体現する生産者として、限られた面積ながらも村の個性を反映した実直なワイン造りを行っている。

History
Domaine Rougeot is a small estate based in Meursault, the largest white-wine commune of the Côte de Beaune. Both Premier Cru parcels — Santenots and Les Charmes — sit within the commune's most sought-after midslope band.
Winemaking Approach
A small estate with little public information. The combination of Santenots (which produces red wine under the Volnay appellation despite lying in Meursault) and Les Charmes blanc captures two distinct expressions of the commune in a compact portfolio.
