History
Domaine Rene Lequin-Colin is a small estate based in Aloxe-Corton, the northernmost commune of the Côte de Beaune and the gateway to the Corton hill. The domaine holds two Grand Cru parcels spanning different corners of Burgundy — from the Corton massif to the Montrachet hill. Founding details are not extensively documented in public sources.
Winemaking Approach
A small estate with little public information. The two Grand Cru holdings are geographically far apart: Corton-Charlemagne on the upper Corton hill produces white wine from Chardonnay, while Bâtard-Montrachet straddles the Puligny-Montrachet and Chassagne-Montrachet boundary — both among Burgundy's most prized white Grand Cru appellations.
