History

Domaine Michel Gros is a Vosne-Romanée estate — at the heart of the Côte de Nuits, where the village shares boundaries with five Grands Crus including Romanée-Conti. The domaine emerged from the Gros family, one of the most storied Vosne-Romanée clans, and holds its own distinct identity alongside the other Gros family estates (A.F. Gros, Gros Frère et Sœur, Anne Gros).

Winemaking Approach

Three parcels across two communes: a sliver of Clos de Vougeot at Grand Cru level, and two of Vosne-Romanée's more compelling premier crus — the monopole Clos des Réas and Aux Brûlées. The Clos des Réas (2.12 ha), an exclusive holding of the domaine, anchors the identity of the estate.
