Domaine Jean Grivot is based in Flagey-Échezeaux, the Côte de Nuits commune that houses Échezeaux and Grands Échezeaux — two grands crus tucked between Clos de Vougeot and Vosne-Romanée. Winemaking Approach
Étienne Grivot manages the estate with close attention to vine age and low yields — the house style aims for density without heaviness. Fourteen parcels across five communes (Flagey-Échezeaux, Vosne-Romanée, Vougeot, Nuits-Saint-Georges, and beyond) give the range a natural hierarchy: grand cru bottlings at the top, a layered set of premiers crus in the middle.
