History
Domaine des Malandes is a Chablis estate based in Beine. Chablis stands apart from the rest of Burgundy — geographically isolated on the Serein river, Kimmeridgian-limestone soils, a climate closer to Champagne than to the Côte d'Or — and that distance shapes a white wine style of piercing minerality with no parallel in the south.
Winemaking Approach
A small estate with little public information. Seven parcels spread across five communes — including Grand Cru Vaudésir and Les Clos — give the range a broad cross-section of the Chablis hierarchy, from village-level Beine to the top of the classification.
