Profile

History

Domaine Jomain is a small Puligny-Montrachet estate. Puligny is white Burgundy's most prestigious address — home to Le Montrachet, Chevalier-Montrachet, Bâtard-Montrachet, and Bienvenues-Bâtard-Montrachet, four Grands Crus that represent the summit of Chardonnay anywhere on earth. Holding even a fraction of a hectare here places the domaine in rarefied company.

Winemaking Approach

A small estate with little public information. The single holding — 0.32 ha in Bâtard-Montrachet — straddles the Puligny-Chassagne boundary, a Grand Cru producing Chardonnay of extraordinary richness and mineral complexity.
