Profile

History
Domaine Jean-Marc & Thomas Bouley is a family estate operating across three Côte de Beaune villages — Beaune, Pommard, and Volnay. Jean-Marc Bouley built the domaine around Volnay and Pommard premier crus; his son Thomas now works alongside him. Six premier cru parcels, concentrated in those two communes, define the estate's identity as a red-wine-focused Côte de Beaune producer.
Winemaking Approach
The six parcels span Beaune, Pommard, and Volnay — the classical triangle of red wine villages between the Corton hill and Meursault. Rugiens in Pommard and Clos des Chênes in Volnay are the estate's most serious addresses. Winemaking is traditional: hand harvesting, cold maceration, and barrel aging with a moderate proportion of new oak aimed at structure without heaviness.
