Domaine Gros Frère & Soeur is a Flagey-Échezeaux estate and one branch of the Gros family — a Vosne-Romanée dynasty whose various domaines collectively hold some of the most coveted grand cru parcels on the Côte de Nuits. Flagey-Échezeaux sits just south of Vosne-Romanée and contains Échezeaux and Grands Échezeaux within its commune boundaries, though both Grands Crus are generally sold under their own names rather than that of the village.
Winemaking Approach
The domaine works four parcels — three Grands Crus and one premier cru — across four communes. The Clos de Vougeot parcel (1.57 ha, in the En Musigni sector) and the Richebourg (0.69 ha) represent the estate's anchor holdings, flanked by a slice of Grands Échezeaux and a small village-level Vosne-Romanée premier cru in Les Chaumes.
